Breeding For Quality |

We raise our alpacas for breeding and fiber. We leave them alone except for checking on them and feeding them. The boys are free to be boys and they run after each other all the time - this keeps them in great shape. We keep their paddocks clean, keep clean water with electrolytes and feed them the best hay (mine of course) and feed mixed with DE. Since 2006, we have had only one alpaca with a medical problem and she is an import from Chile. With antibiotics she got better very quickly.
